| Shaker Boxes with Chestnut Tops
Some of our salvaged Chestnut was used by Jerome Pincoske to make these classic shaker boxes. | |||
"The "swallowtails" are carefully cut by hand, immerse the sides in very hot water, and then are bent around a wooden form. The sides are fastened with solid copper tacks, this process is repeated for the lid. Tops and bottoms are attached with wooden pegs." E-mail Jerome Pincoske for more information. E-mail us to order chestnut or other wood. |
